-
Can you edit the work of EFL writers?
Absolutely. We specialize in editing English as a Foreign Language (EFL) texts, helping non-native writers refine their language for a native-speaking audience, whether for academic or professional purposes.
-
Will you keep my content confidential?
Yes, we take confidentiality seriously. All documents are treated with strict confidentiality, and we can sign a non-disclosure agreement upon request to ensure your work is secure.
-
How do you price your services?
Our pricing is based on the word count, service type, and turnaround time. You can request a personalized quote by submitting a sample of your work, and we will provide a clear breakdown of costs and timelines before the edit begins.
-
What is your turnaround time?
Our standard turnaround time is 48 hours per 5,000 words of text. Quicker turnarounds are available on request, at a rush surcharge; please contact us to check availability.
-
Can I request revisions after the edit?
We don’t offer free revisions after an edit, but if we’ve previously worked on a specific document, subsequent edits and proofreads of the same document are available at a discounted rate.
-
How do you handle editing AI-generated text?
We specialize in humanizing AI-generated text to enhance readability, natural flow, and tone. We do not use AI checkers to verify whether text has been written by AI, as the checkers currently available on the market are unreliable.
-
What style guides do you follow?
We are experienced with a wide range of style guides, including APA, MLA, Chicago, and more. If you have specific style requirements, please let us know, and we will tailor the edit to suit your needs.
-
How can I be sure that your edits are suitable for academic publications?
Our team is skilled in academic editing, especially for peer-reviewed journals. We prefer to work with editors who have themselves been published in top-tier journals and therefore have a deep understanding of the requirements for publication.
-
Will my document retain its original voice and intent after editing?
Yes, we work to preserve your voice and intent while enhancing clarity and readability. Our goal is to refine your message without altering your unique style. If your original content is ambiguous in any way, your editor will flag this for your attention to make sure we don’t alter your meaning.
-
Can I request a sample edit?
Yes, we offer sample edits for new clients. This allows you to evaluate our editing style and see how we approach your work. Please contact us to arrange a sample.
-
What formats do you accept, and will my document be formatted professionally?
We accept documents in most formats, including Word, LaTeX, PowerPoint, and PDF. Note that PDF documents are intended to be print-ready files and are therefore only suitable for proofreading; if you’d like a line edit, please send us your work in Word, LaTeX, or another text editor instead.
-
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, bank transfers, and PayPal. For universities, we offer credit lines, enabling researchers to have their work edited and then submit invoices to their finance departments for payment. Payment terms will be discussed and confirmed before work begins.
-
How can I place an order?
Our order form allows you to submit your document along with all of the information we need to supply you with a quote. We will provide a personalized quote and guide you through the process from start to finish.
-
What are your working hours?
Our admin team is available from 08.00 to 20.00 Central European Time Monday to Friday, and our editors work around the clock. If you need to reach us outside of these hours, note that responses may be delayed, but we do check in over the weekend.
